@suquili @ShowMeYourLibrary I think it's recency bias.
Biden was not in charge, but unlike the usual state of affairs, the whole world knew it.
He is only spared further humiliation by not having a second term, and being so obviously out of it, that some people even felt bad for him.
@casuist "We'll know our disinformation program is complete when everything the American public believes is false." - CIA Director William Casey.
@medievalwars @EvolLove @cjd Our genes do have that.
Your brain is a cluster of neural networks (NN) that recognize patterns.
NNs are excellent in some respects, like no input is invalid, no matter what you give it, it will output... something, the result might not make sense though.
Now think of sexual characteristics as input variables, such as shoulder to waist ratio, breast size, etc...
All these variables have a normal range, that we can encounter in nature, and our NN can recognize as valid sex partners.
But what if you give it input that it never evolved to handle, like a car, or a furry?
Why are some car designs referred to as "sexy"?
Why do furry characters in children's cartoons not seen as ugly?
Because the NN will output something no matter what the input is, for some people, excessive designs (fetish content) produce a positive result.
For normal people, you can see this in Olympian human designs, 8 heads tall, practically non-existant, most people will never see such a person in their lives, and yet, you open a comic book and you don't think of these characters as ugly, do you?
Input slightly outside of what our NN evolved for is usually universally accepted, and no one bats an eye.
As you get into more extreme input, the smallest changes in our brain patterns can make the difference between attraction and revoltion.
So it is possible that you have a fetish you are simply not aware of, and you can go your whole life never knowing about it.
