here's a theory

If Gendo told me that angels were attacking Tokyo-3 I'd tell him "HELL YEAH BORHTER!!! UNTIL I RUN OUTTA BULLETS OR BLOOD I'LL KILL EVERY GOT DAMN ANGLE THAT ATTACKS TOKYO-3!!!", drop whatever I was doing, get my plugsuit and aviators on and haul ass to my EVA. I'd be blasting the angels out of the sky to the top gun soundtrack. I won't be like that little faggot Shinji who's always too sad to pilot the EVA. I'd probably push Shinji out of my way while screaming "FUCK OUTTA MY WAY FAGGOT!! I GOT ANGELS TO KILL!!!" I have never watched Evangelion.
