@coded_artist @picandor They are doing measurements today again if the water is safe. It is still scheduled to happen in Tuesday I think (triathlon). If the water isn't safe, triathlon gets turned to biathlon and become a big scandal to happen in the Olympics.

This post has been doing the rounds lately, and I personally find it so amusing and relevant to my experience in government work that I need to post it again.

I am not a technical expert of any import, but I do work in niche spaces and it's alarming how often I find myself outperforming people who are far more qualified and experienced than I am.

As noted on Twitter, she's somehow less coherent than the last guy.

You forgot that the rain turned the river back to poopwater and it isn't swimmable. Though I guess that could alleviate itself before it being used.

Or they'll just make the athletes swim in contaminated water.

I love how by now it's just a common occurrence that Irate Gamer and Mister Metokur quote-tweet each other every now and then.
