The US has been coasting on Southern warrior culture for long enough, I am glad it is coming to an end and that'd be a nice way to send it off.

There's proof of this too.

20 years ago this map would have been a solid dark blue chunk from Texas and Oklahoma to the west to Kentucky and Virgina in the north.
Now those states are on parity with Washington and Oregon.

Midwest was the second largest contributer and it is drying up as well.

Edit: And I should stress, this map is from Trump's first term. It has almost certainly gotten worse now.
