I never understood this "it's either this instance or nothing" way of thinkin.The very concept of the fediverse was made to avoid stuff like that. To me it's just fishing for drama.

@hideki for zemichi it was that he’s haters who would try to get instances taken down and he didn’t want to cause any admins any trouble

@overflow i've seen instances like freespeechextremist have people with takes hotter than his and the instance is still there, that would have been a good instance for him.

@hideki yeah but he posts lolicon shit which is sketchy if not illegal in most places where instances are hosted

@overflow ah then THIS instance where i am would be good, because it's one of the few instances where the admin is not a wimp.
