How would you ask "what year is this?" if you suddenly woke up in the far future and noone understood what you are saying because your language died long ago?.

@karolat idk i think it's a more standarized way of measuring the pass of time while language could be more open 
. Also imagining that all languages got standarized into one "main" language or something like that, different to what we have now.
