@ZVCorrupted Thanks! well it is NOT REALLY pixel art
it is a scene made in Blender and shaded/rendered so it appears to be pixel art. Maybe i need to increase the pixelly-ness if it appears to be a normal picture? ![]()
@MrNobody @ZVCorrupted the pixelation is achieved basically by rendering at a very low res (duh), like this image was rendered at 480x480, but also you have at only one sample in eevee. Adding more samples introduces antialiasing so it kills the pixelation.
@hideki @MrNobody @ZVCorrupted what about the materials? Diffuse-only I assume.
@ademan @MrNobody @ZVCorrupted yes difuse only as a basis, then using a shader-to-rgb and a color ramp nodes you create the toon shades to harden the differences of light
@hideki @MrNobody @ZVCorrupted it looks awesome yet again. Your inktober has been really inspiring, it makes me want to try blender again, if only I had time (…and talent… 😂)
@ademan @MrNobody @ZVCorrupted Thank you, really much appreciated.
To be honest i have still a lot of doubts about things like talent and such, but the thing is that you have to "shut upt and jam" and then "getting better" comes later. Like for example i starte following a lot of tutorials at first, then everything fell into place as ideas popped in my head.
@hideki@gameliberty.club i mean, i looked at it for a few moments and then it was pixely, but it took a minute to tell
