@hideki tbh, there seems to be very little interaction in these instances.
Like, at least, much less than I assumed there'd be.
Or am I just not following enough people (or have enough followers)? Would prefer not to spam the follow button :/
@Aldo2 Limiting oneself to the activity of one instance won't turn out good. This is supossed to be a big interconected network, you HAVE TO follow people from many places.
Sure an instance can have it's own culture but at the end of the day it's your interactions with other people is what makes the place here worthwhile.
Just load the federated timeline and if you see interesting people follow them and talk to them once in a while.

I am trying to keep the content I post in each different tho.
Eh, I just only really follow those who interest me, or who interact with me in a good way.
Not gonna follow all the horny-posters or.....Worse....I mean, maybe if they prove they can think using their brain at least once?
