"PHP Desktop is an open source project founded by Czarek Tomczak in 2012 to provide a way for developing native desktop GUI applications using web technologies such as PHP, HTML5, JavaScript and SQLite. Think of it as Electron for PHP"

That's for me.

That's literally worse than Electron or anything else really.

@xianc78 @hideki Wait till you see my COBOL-based* framework for multiplatform app development! 😂

*COBOL 60, of course. It's the only TRUE and HONEST COBOL dialect!
@xianc78 @hideki There's already a PHP wrapper for GTK, which I found to be insane.
PHP is a server side webdev language, it should never be used for desktop applications!
Just use C instead, PHP is technically C in tinfoil.
@ryo @xianc78 @hideki :cirno_for_reals: there is an h-game that makes much patreon monies and is PHP wrapped in some web browser shell

@ryo @hideki I might actually give this a try. Something that's been on my programming bucket list is to make a full-feature game in a language that it totally not intended for game development.

@xianc78 i already used it to make a sick youtube-dl frontend.
