@hideki when I watch streams, it's usually of wacky/weird games from streamers that I know will make it even wackier. That's why I watch vinesauce and jerma, but if they're playing something serious or an rpg or something I skip out on it and just watch highlights or something.

It's always background too, while I'm playing PSO or whatever.

@BigTony yeah unless the streamer has a lot of interesting content, like a funny way of playing or something, most of it you're sitting there like the little brother just waiting it's turn to play, not that fun.

@hideki @BigTony most of the streams ive watched like that are just people i know and im like one of maybe a dozen ppl in chat bullshitting with them which is cool on its own

@gingermilk and they don't require that much focus on the streamer too, you can keep a window in another monitor just glancing every now and then to see how the artwork is doing.

@hideki yeah, it's just like how people use TV as a source of noise or necessary distraction (?)
