idk i really like the “deck” UI that mastodon offers, but laso have to say i am a fan of Tweetdeck when i am on Twitter, which has the same look. For me it’s less the look and entirely the missing functionality as compared to akkoma. I like being able to easily hover over the “Reply to” and see what people said and trivially open entire threads without the view changing
In the end the issue of the UI is a moot point for me since i always end using my own frontend
