How do you know someone hasn't used GIMP ever: it recommends it to you.
On windows, when i need to do small adjustments to an image i use a program called Photofiltre.
It's not FOSS and it's made in France :v but it's lightweight and good enough for small tasks.

It sorta makes sense you can drop a SATA controller into your M.2/nvme slot, since it's just sitting there on the PCI bus. But you can also drop a SATA controller ... into your Wi-Fi card slot .. cause why not?
