Star Wars episode 9 is going to be shit no matter what, because you simply can't fix what Ryan Johnson destroyed.
The only way to fix Star Wars is to say that episode 8 was just a dream and never actually happened.
@matrix Episode 9 would be a success if it were a dumb, fanficcy rehash like TFA. Any hope for a good self-sufficient story is long dead.
@ArdanianRight @matrix I mean, The Last Jedi was already dumb and fanficcy - it was just the fanfiction of some fat Asian girl who wasn't really a Star Wars fan.
@ChristiJunior @matrix It was fanficcy in the sense that it was badly written, it just doesn't qualify as a fanfic because it wasn't made by an actual fan of Star Wars, and doesn't even qualify as guilty pleasure entertainment. TLJ was deliberately anti-fun and anti-Star Wars by design.
