We're not even talking about him/her trying to impose their politics on the children. At least in that case they legitimately believe in those politics, so there's no actually malintent. We're talking about a teacher intentionally lying when teaching children. That's beyond fucked up. This is equivalent to teaching kids that 2+2=5 just to screw with them.
