@matrix I prefer dubs, it helps me pay more attention to what's going on.
Also I'm visually impaired so reading subs actively hurts me and puts strain on my eyes.
I still don't understand this dub vs sub war, it's really stupid. Just watch whatever you prefer and don't bitch if others prefer something different.
Like, I get it, sorta? People want to be 'as close to the source material as possible' but most of the time the people who would be dubbing the show are the ones subbing it and they'll probably make the sub identical to the dub. If the ones subbing it aren't one of the bigger dubbing/subbing companies than it's most likely unofficially subbed by some guy with varying levels of japanese fluency. So their translation could be pretty far off from the original as well.
I think a lot of it is because people see Funimation dubs (the worst ones) and think that all dubs are like that. Funimation is super gay in that they like putting awful memes/libtard trash into their dubs.
If you get any other dubbing company though you'll have a much more pleasant experience.
