@matrix I blame microtransactions combined with smartphone shit and companies not wanting to risk much on newer stuff so just falling back to remakes

@matrix @orekix I mostly blame the demise of AA game studios. They're the ones who actually innovate and had passion in the medium, but game publishers screwed them over. AAA game studios on the other hand only care about casual multiplayer garbage or interactive movies. Indies are the closest you can get with AA studios but they cannot compare to the production value that AA studios have.
