@kline @matrix being yelled at between christmas and new year's by my grandparents, not one year, but several years, and @ArdanianRight is telling me i should just suck it up and fake it and act like im having fun. it doesnt matter if i call it christmas or "the holidays" when either way i have consistently had bad experiences.

@ArdanianRight @matrix I just swung by Metokur's Twitter account to see if he's still alive and his Christmas greeting included a screenshot of a Huffington Post article talking about how Santa Claus is White supremacy 'cause you wouldn't allow a Black man to break into your house.

@matrix Here, the people who wouldn't say "merry Christmas" wouldn't be celebrating it. I know a few. Bitter people. Even in my fedora atheist days, I would still partake in the festivities.
