Now that the last figurehead is gone, there is almost nothing to unite them anymore while the populist revolt that started without that goofy event anyway simply still continues. The lolbert hastag is just a scapegoat for everything that went wrong during Occupy Wallstreet. This was the point when culture creators couldn't cram identiy politics down everybodies' throat quickly enough.

This points to another problem with this event: Remember how everyone who got fat on it folded, a certain cripple included? Many people only know extreme politics thanks to the best efforts of fluorescent-American community.

I don't have anything concrete and honestly I can't be arsed to make to check this all. Last time I have poured any effort into that issue I got jack shit from the community on which behalf I have done it. The working theory™ goes like this:

Back around the ass end of occupy Wallstreet the internet got tremendously full of shills making propaganda for radical politics. For what purpose? To divide the populace so much, that it can't form another movement like Occupy Wallstreet again of course. One of the targets was apparently also 4chan /new/ and then /pol/ according to a Libertarian politics board that talked about a Stormfront subcommunity called swarmfront that was going around the internet trying to recruit more and more people. This led to 4chon becoming more radical what has it to do with GG? I mentionet a certain cripple. Did you know that the creator of tinyboard and former admin of 4chon offered that very guy money for shutting down his website and stop development of a new software for it? He also sang the very same song the cripple is singing on bird site right now there is hardly any politics image board left outside of halfchan. Yet the extreme ideologies still remain.

Which reminds me of the last drama involving one that got full so radical to the point, that even the infamously patient admin of the 8ch clone hosting it lost patience and told them to fuck off and so did its instance of the weapons board.

Feds have radicalized Imageboards to complete the false dialectics against the likes of tumblr to gain control over the Internet because Occupy Wallstreet came out of it.

@maxmustermann @icedquinn @matrix @wowaname I get where you're coming from but I'd argue that Conservatives, Christians and The Right in general have never had less of a presence in culture than right now. I keep hearing this meme repeated endlessly about Zoomers being "based" but I'm just not seeing it. There may very well be a group of loosely affiliated people on the right who unironically call themselves Fascists and push a Fascistic agenda, but what I see when I look around is tech oligarchs deciding what can and can't be discussed online, journalists dictating what is and isn't true and elected officials calling for their political opponents to be harmed. To me that's Fascism and what concerns me is that the people doing these things actually have power.

Maybe the real threat here is the powergrab that's occurring between two sides both of which seem to want Fascism - there's one side that already has power and wants to use its authority to crush its opponents, then there's the other side which is currently being victimised but is quietly growing in numbers and is both armed and angry. I know we kinda went off the topic of GG here but there's definitely troubling times ahead I reckon.
