@matrix I need an AMERICAN to explain this...

Why didn't all the kids leave the building in less then 2 minutes?

@LukeAlmighty @matrix schools are trained to hold and hide students in their rooms during a "lockdown", which is called when someone unwanted intrudes the school.
@LukeAlmighty @matrix Turn off the lights, lock the doors and move into some corner of the room that you can't directly see from the door's window and hope for the best. It's as effective as it sounds.
@LukeAlmighty @Nelenese @matrix
This is unironically how you solve the problem if your were going to try to solve it, outside of just removing all non-Whites from America. Everyone should be forced by law to carry and train with a gun.

@Nelenese @matrix
If I wanted to go shooting, I don't think, that there even exists a place, that wouldn't be completelly empty 60s after the first shot... This is ridiculous.

Playing hide and seek? Are they mental? That means not only that they are waiting to be shot, but also making it obvious for the shooter.

This is unreal.

It relies on the old mass shooter mindset that either they stay in the hallway/corridors or they'd go door to door shooting every kid they saw. So schools are built like prisons now. Hence why only the front door should be open with the office located right next door to it, etc.

A school where I live had the office in the hallway and several entrances when I was younger. It now only has one open at all times and is strict about who can go in and out. It's all theater of course.

@PhenomX6 @matrix @Nelenese Sorry for spamming this, but I am just in shock over this. Do they expect Superman to woosh in?

> It relies on the old mass shooter mindset that either they stay in the hallway/corridors or they'd go door to door shooting every kid they saw

Ok, I am stupid. How does it help then, when the shooter knows where the kids are, and has an hour to go through all the rooms?

@LukeAlmighty @matrix @Nelenese Yes, they really do expect police to be there right away and not sit outside with their thumbs up their asses.

@PhenomX6 @matrix @Nelenese
"When every second matters, police is just minutes away."

I love this saying, because it's an IQ test... (My mom failed...)

@LukeAlmighty @matrix @Nelenese So are the suburban moms/single women who voted for $7.50 a gallon as they whine about it.

@matrix
Fuck, undead chronic's memes are hitting the spot lately...

@matrix
BTW, For a 6 year old, this scene was the coolest shit immaginable.
