AIs are made with Bias, you get what you teach it.
@matrix I have an idea about what's going on. Face recognition algorithm are known for having difficulties distinguishing black faces (because of training bias and because neural networks work in mysterious ways), so maybe Twitter uses face recognition to choose how to center pictures. White faces are seen as more face-like than black faces, hence the racism.
@bartholin Yeah, also black is just harder to distinguish details on.

@matrix This also happened like a year ago. I argued that it likes White people better because we have more contrast, it sees 2 faces and just picks whichever one has higher probability of being legit
Looks like the algorithm considers niggers as little more than background color.
