Wrom what I heard, they're pretty much hostages at this point.

@LukeAlmighty @matrix yeah. A lot of productions these days tend to rely on CG for everything, even plugging the holes in the filming schedules.
@matrix back when the company didnt push for 10 "blockbuster" cgi filled movies in a year :raphtaliaPensive: rip vfx artists lol
@matrix this is what happens when jews spend a decade trying to pay them less and less. for the ultimate in jewery in a jewish industry, that kike behind the degenerate sausage party movie never paid his animators at all.
@grey @matrix Yes but he wasn't responsible for those animators getting paid. The work was outsourced to Nitrogen Studios which is owned and run by Greg Tiernan.
@matrix Holy cow, top right is Annoying Orange levels of CGI.
@matrix A CGI artist from 2009 still working in 2022 would command a huge salary due to their experience.
Why pay 100 experienced CGI artists a high salary when you can hire 1,000 CGI artists fresh out of some very legitimate college in Asia instead?
@matrix @nobullyplz @matrix this
i saw the new thor with family and some friends (not willingly) and there were 10 different cgi companies listed in the credits. i bet every single one of them is based in india or some shit.
James Cameron and Neil Blomkamp are the only guys i've seen lately to use full cgi stuff with finesse
cgi literally peaked between 2007 and 2010 and nothing that came out after that era is better
@matrix we replaced the huwhite CG artists with chinese sweatshops
of course there is going to be a drop in quality
@matrix @matrix - A example of a IQ shredder theory being confirmed.

@matrix Watching Smaug in a theater was impressive at the time. Each scale looked unique and detailed.

Now idk I've stopped watching movies. Too ideologically loaded for me to enjoy.
