To me I think the concept is more about not being in denial of the instincts, and not doing this weird sanitizing act the mainstream seems to do with sexuality where it's thought that somehow you can (or should) compartmentalize sex away from things intrinsically connected, like procreation and various emotions. I guess I'd say it represents someone being a little more "primal" in their sexuality than most will admit to, by leaning into how those qualities enhance the act, rather than trying to wish them away so that all remains is a retardo toothless pornbrained series of motions.
