@matrix I am an enjoyer of the MC seeing several of his friends die so he can achieve his goal then promising to live his life to the fullest because he now lives for all those who helped him get there, then tells waifu that though he loves her he must set things right before he can settle down with her. She then tell him hes an idiot and they begin traveling together to fix the consequences of saving everyone from what happened.

@matrix I like endings that sensibly fulfill the plot, happy or downer.

A guy saving the world and getting the girl? Sounds great if the story's well written and the plot makes sense. Bonus points if it ends with her pregnant with the protagonist's baby.

A downer ending with the villains getting their way? Works for me if it works for the story.
