@matrix I sleep with beautiful rich girls on a matress on the floor of my crackshack.
@PonyPanda @matrix This is actually real though, people live in shitty peasant apartments with mattresses on the floor with no bedframe and fuck fat girls that think they're not fat because they're not quite as fat as the average 38+ inch waistline fatty.

@matrix that's probably going to become an actual thing though. We laugh, but minecraft is over 10 years old. There are people turning 18 this year who were only 6 when it came out and barely even know what the world was like without minecraft in it.

@matrix >not having two twin beds beside each other
his commitment is lacking
@grey @matrix Did people really do that or is that one of those 50s memes?
@Shadowbroker2135 @grey @matrix I've never heard of separate beds in the same room. But spouses maintaining separate rooms is apparently (relatively) common and becoming even more so.
@JonnyFever @matrix @Shadowbroker2135 @grey Lol. But having kids outside of marriage is even more dumb by several orders of magnitude.

That being said, if a guy doesn't want to sleep in the same bed as these blanket stealing succubi so he can get an actual good night's sleep, he has my complete sympathy.
@Nou @JonnyFever @matrix @Shadowbroker2135 my gfs mattress is way to soft, whenever i sleep there my back is fucking with me all morning. need to buy gym mats to sleep on at her place.
@grey @JonnyFever @matrix @Shadowbroker2135 I've never understood the appeal. They've either completely wrapped themselves in the blanket and you freeze, or they're directly on top of you and you sweat like a pig while feeling like you're paralyzed. If a family has the money/space for two bedrooms, then good on them for any couple that does this.
@Nou @Shadowbroker2135 @grey @matrix My grandparents slept in separate rooms as long as I knew them.
@MeBigbrain @Shadowbroker2135 @grey @matrix Very based.
And historically that was the norm for the aristocracy, who could afford it. And I don't think any couple should break the bank buying a house with an extra room just for this purpose. But if you've got the space, it makes a lot more sense than a guest bedroom.
@Nou @MeBigbrain @Shadowbroker2135 @grey @matrix My wife and I sidestep the problem by having separate blankets. All the snuggle time we want + not stealing the covers from each other.
@BarbatusRex @MeBigbrain @Shadowbroker2135 @grey @matrix The snuggling almost as bad as the blanket thievery. That way you end up feeling like you're running a 104° fever and are paralyzed all night.
@Nou @MeBigbrain @Shadowbroker2135 @grey @matrix You only snuggle up until the point you are ready to go to sleep, then you settle into your primary sleeping position. Why do niggas act like this shit is so hard to fix?
@BarbatusRex @MeBigbrain @Shadowbroker2135 @grey @matrix Because I have never seen it happen like that.
In my experience she'll be reading or texting or whatever, put down her phone or book, curl up on your chest, and be out like a light almost immediately.

@BarbatusRex @Nou @MeBigbrain @Shadowbroker2135 @matrix there are a bunch of things that can make sleeping together every night an ongoing headache.

mattress preference differences
sleep time differences / waking the other person up getting into and out of bed
schedule differences, especially for people who do shift work
night washroom visit disturbances
phone notifications, especially when on pager duty
snoring
cpap machine interference / noise
evening / morning shower preferences

long-term relationships shouldn’t be shackled to the idea that both parties have to sleep in the same bed / room every night in order to be healthy, if it works for you, great. but no one should feel like it’s out of the question to reorganize this.

@Shadowbroker2135 @matrix I've never really heard of it in the same room. Separate rooms is fairly common, since sleeping together can be disruptive for many reasons, and it's an easy fix as long as you aren't attached to the symbolism of sleeping together every night.

I was just doing a bit about the size of the bed not matching up with Minecraft.
