"Being in the vicinity of" is not worth anything, "driving change" is what counts. For all his focusing on the means of production he fixated on a variable that isn't even capable of changing them (that is the job of scientists).

And the most important thing is that Marx's prophesied revolution has not happened and most likely will never happen. The main prediction made by his hypothesis falsified it (alongside others such as the vanishing of the middle class).

Karl Marx's theory of class isn't crazy. We had caste systems, officially and unofficially.

His mistake was assuming that was arbitrary. Most people are actually on a predetermined path for a reason, they can't do anything else well.

That's wht modern successors to Communism are elitist. That's the only place it survived.
