@animeirl I don't either so please don't fall for sensationalism.

@animeirl Any evidence beyond click bait headlines, OOC sound bites and poor reading comprehension.

@animeirl He's running a thriving media company. And thanks to Musk he got unbanned from Twitter now.

This instance is using the software we chose because we think it's the best, not because of ideological stances. No well-adjusted, ordinary person cares what software someone else is using unless it has some sort of practical implications. I'm not going to worry myself if unhinged people decide to block this instance.

In my opinion, I find it rather eerie how close there is a parallel to abusive relationships when it comes to some defederation attitudes. Abusers will try to isolate you from communicating with others and attempt to control the information you're exposed to, they cut you off from communicating with others so that they are the source of truth, the only people you can confide in and use this to manipulate you into doing what they want. The abusers always appears to have all the knowledge of events going on outside and know what's best, they will tell you how you should think about something, but there will often not have much to show to prove their claims or use common falacies to prove it.

It's ironic how often the defederation demands come from people who claim it's necessary to prevent abuse, while holding so many parallels to an abuser themselves.

@johnbudd1350 Thanks, but how to do it when a range in array2 starts at 0 or ends at end of array1?
If it doesn't you first need to call the function before looping through array2, but you don't know where to end before looping through array2.
I think I might need to make a new array with the acceptable ranges and just loop through that.

@Corfiot @johnbudd1350 I can create anything I want. Just can't touch the arrays.

@johnbudd1350 I'm not given a list of ranges. I only know length of array1.

@johnbudd1350 I want to call the function (the function has 3 arguments, start and end index, and array1) on black parts individually, but the start and end of the red parts is in a different array.

@ceo_of_monoeye_dating I'm working in C.
The array structure is meaningful so I can't touch either of the arrays.

I have a programming problem I'm unsure how to solve.
I have two arrays and a function. The function works on array1 on a given range. Array2 contains ranges in array1 that are forbidden to be worked on.

It's really fascinating how millennials and zoomers have swung full church lady. You're not rebelling or doing anything different, you're your grandparents with smartphones.

@thor Sorry, I missed that. In that case, if you are willing to experiment you could try using object storage like Cloudflare r2 or idrive e2. To keep the costs reasonable.

You can't basically stream good looking hentai. Either it's compressed to hell or upscaled to hell.

@thor Just use their networked storage boxes instead. I'm using it over SMB for Peertube and Synapse and so far I had no issues
