@freemo That is true. The author of the article that called Mastodon dead used such an instance.
You mainly have bigger reach due to a bigger more diverse userbase.

Although fediverse.space says that mine has currently more neighbors. I think they count only few last days.

@freemo I went in aggressively from the start arguing, memeing etc so I got quite a few block recommendations almost immediately.
Even though registrations were always open and I'm quite thankful for my users, I always ran this instance more like a personal instance.

Plus I probably should have thought of a better name.

@freemo Not by much though. I've been around since October 2018 and kept a complete history too.
You did a much better job at attracting users.
