It's been a while since I played Vice City but I remember the helicopter being fairly stable and pressing forward just moved you forward.

I never had issues with the Vice City mission where you plant bombs using the RC helicopter. I don't get why people had issues with it. The mission with the RC plane is much harder, but you can cheese it by driving the plane.

Yeah, that's the nice thing about all the Linux desktops, but the defaults clearly speak about the design intentions.

And also the buttons on the password prompt take up like 1/4 of the prompt.

I mean that but also the buttons to close and minimize windows are unnecessarily big for a mouse.

The big buttons, the icons of installed programs are gigantic, the password prompt blocks of everything (like iOS), the onscreen keyboard doesn't have keys like control, alt etc and only pops up when you click on a text input field.

I really dislike GNOME 3. It's a touch focused interface but used with a mouse and keyboard. Feels just awful.
