sometimes i think people just lost all respect for people in foss. without any knowledge and introperspective people get called nazis and get publicly defamed.

yes it is hard to read the api and yes it is hard to read code but yes it should be also hard to form a political opinion.

calling someone a nazi for no reason is harassment itself.
so many things would be easier if people would add their source to their claims. i talked to some people and some of them are not taking the controversy as lightly as @lain

these people didnt expected to get called homophob, transphob, racist, terf, sexist etc just because they do free software.

if u dont like the way open source software is done contact the people directly. these projects are not multi national evil cooperations which just want your money. these things are done by people in their free time because they have fun and want to share something with the world. even if some of them turn out bad there is always the chance to fork everything by some people and keeping the code alive.

most of the people and projects welcome discussions if done right. without a healthy discussion no software should be made. i think noone can really avoid being "politicly" nowadays since everything is considered a statement. having a CoC is a statement not having one is a statement aswell. that is fine as long as there is basic respect left for both sides, like some people using arch linux. i can respect that on a basic level. i use gentoo btw
