One late phenomenon I don't get is "campus conservatism".
No, really. What's the point? Do you get together on a campus and discuss how conservative you are? More broadly, what's the point of forming political clubs on campus? Or anything unrelated to what you're studying?

Maybe it's just me but as far as school goes, I like to attend my lectures, then my exercises, perhaps spend some time working on homework n the computer lab and then get the fuck out. Why would anyone ever do more, let alone form political clubs there?
