I just realised @matrix had about 7 TB of GLC user uploads on my server and I never bothered to look at any of them. I was never even curious.
TFW I'm legit realising I have a tonne of respect for users privacy.
I know the few times I've had to troubleshoot Fedora Email (and got the user's consent to look in their inbox to find the email causing trouble) I've always diverted my eyes and tried my best to only register the relevant email.
I guess I'm just naturally uncomfortable invading people's privacy even if I have full access to the data.
This revolution makes me feel a little more qualified to be doing shit like running Shitty Services
