Actually cannot believe this. After 13 years, Sony/BMG have decided to take down Rick Astley's "Never gunna give you up" due to a dispute with Youtube over ad royalties.

It's completely blocked globally. Actual end of an era.

This is more true than the old folks here want to understand.

The only reliable way around it is to network…..and thanks to a lifetime of OUR parents moving for careers and living in isolated suburbia, our own cloistered, weird upbringing

-(can’t play outside or talk to strangers bc dateline said everyone’s a pedo so stay inside with your 1-2 friends playing video games, I had so many people bug me as a kid because they though I was unsafe just riding my bike around town alone) -

it’s hard to just magically stumble into making a viable working network to find good jobs.
