What you guys are referring to as Mastodon, is in fact, ActivityPub, or as I've recently taken to calling it, Federation. Mastodon is not a social media website unto itself, but rather another free component of a fully functioning decentralized system made useful by the ActivityPub specs, server interoperability and vital system components comprising a full server as defined by some people. Many sites users run different implementations of the Federation every day, without realizing it. Through a peculiar turn of events, the version of Federation which is widely used today is often called "Mastodon", and many of its users are not aware that it is basically the Federation. There really is a Mastodon, and these people are using it, but it is just a part of the system they use. Mastodon is an implementation: the program in the Federation that allows you to communicate to other people. Mastodon is an essential part of the Federation, but useless by itself; it can only function in the context of a complete decentralized system. Mastodon normally interacts with other implementations: the whole system is basically Mastodon+Pleroma+Misskey+Akkoma+and many other implementations.

Here's a question: how long till there's no more rainbow on the rainbow flag?

Also, what other things that are completely unrelated to sexuality do you think they'll manage to include?
