@nicholas @djsumdog @noaccounting4me @JoshuaSlocum @verita84 @hakui The thing I'm trying to get people to think about is: if you are detaining someone who has been identified as having a gun - you are going to be trained to consider them a threat until they have been totally thoroughly searched.
Officers have been shot by people that have more than one weapon.
This is why I have consistently told people that if they want to do illegal things like interfering with law enforcement, unless they want to get shot, don't do it with a weapon, because thats a prime way to change the situation from "someone who is being a pain in the ass" to "someone who might be trying to kill us"
