I remember how the other day some foid asked me "Why do men not like romance?". I didn't give it too much of a thought back then, but the fact is that men *do* like romance, it's just that romance media for men and women are quite different. The difference between "Omg I have love triangle with two trillionaire vampires with anger issues" and "the seemingly evil vampire girl is actually a cute maiden and blushes when I hold her hand" is so stark that they shouldn't even be considered to be in the same genre.
