Ugh
Ok I was going to bud into a conversation about Capitalism but I realized that one of the people involved was just ignorant as shit about economics and the realities of running a business.
There is a threshold, I suspect, for people to understand the basic math involved. This should have been taught in schools, but it wasn't, and now we have a generation of people who think they are really smart and clever for rejecting the best way to combat poverty, and as a bonus, it doesn't interfere with your freedom.
But nooooooope, gov't "education" makes that impossible. So we have to rely on the few people who are interested enough to learn basic, and I do mean BASIC understanding of math and economics on their own accord. That's not many.
