Warning: someone is spamming cryptocurrency on Fedi

Just had someone try to "send" me a cryptocurrency called "10grans" through a Fedi account without my knowledge or consent.

To "collect" what is "sent", people mentioned would have to sign up to their service. I did not do this, and never will.

I am not at all comfortable seeing my username on their list of recipients, it makes it look like I use cryptocurrency.

For the record: I don't use any form of cryptocurrency/token/NFT. I never have and never will, ever.

Please don't have anything to do with this, "sending" tokens like this is effectively just spamming people. I have reported it as spam.

This is not at all nice for those of us who want to stay as far away from cryptocurrency as possible.

I don't find cryptocurrency fun at all, it is causing terrible damage to society and the world.

Please don't involve me in it without consent. Opt out isn't consent.

Not gonna be active on fedi tonight. I'm meeting a guy (a real one) in half an hour (wouldn't expect a lot of you to understand anyway) so please don't DM me asking me where I am (im with the guy, ok) you'll most likely get ignored because ill be with the guy (again I don't expect you to understand) I'm madly in love with him and its not a situation i can pass up for some meaningless fedi degenerates (because ill be meeting a guy, not that you really are going to understand) this is my life now. Meeting guys and not wasting my precious time online, I have to move on from such simple things and branch out (you wouldnt understand)

To "collect" what is "sent", people mentioned would have to accept Mastodon activities. I did not do this, and never will.

I am not at all comfortable seeing my username on their list of recipients, it makes it look like I use Mastodon.

For the record: I don't use any fork of Mastodon. I never have and never will, ever.
