Noteworthy changes:

cvar r_speeds 2 will display audio related mixer timings
cvar cl_shownet 3 is now more verbose
menu package manager now has search
sv_nqplayerphysics now has the ‘2’ setting, which will enable NQ player physics but force prediction (may make some mods play better over the net, others not)
new cvar: pm_bunnyfriction
scoreboard will now show AFK status
developers can now use TTF fonts that are aliased
Vulkan renderer now supports half rate shading, via the cvar r_halfrate
early work on officially supplying flatpaks
lots and lots of bugfixes!

i was just thinking today how it was only in the last maybe eight years that i felt like language was being actively manipulated or exasperated at people playing massive word games or people completely flipping positions within 24 hours when their political masters signaled.
