Next on my Game Boy adventure is Super Mario Land 2. The first one had a fair difficulty curve, but this game goes from "easy with a few moderately challenging segments" to "FUCK YOU" the moment you reach the final level. I don't have the patience to beat that without savestates.
Hatris.
Of all the early attempts to follow up the immortal masterpiece Tetris, this is probably the best one. Stack five like hats to make them disappear. You need to build the stacks unevenly to be able to separate the falling pair of hats.
The soundtrack changes every stage, preventing any one track from outstaying its welcome. The tracks are pretty good, too.
Managed to go off melatonin without fucking up my circadian rhythm. That's an accomplishment, right?
Just beat Super Mario Land for the first time with a score of 310,900. I suspect it's gonna be a fun game to revisit again and again.
Thousands of Game Boy games at my fingertips and I go back to the original Tetris anyway.

I got my Everdrive GB. It works fine. The battery in my old GBA SP (AGS-001) is kind of fucked, though, so I'm gonna have to order a battery.
The game I'm playing the most on it right now is Catrap, which is kind of a side-view Sokoban. I've been trying for several hours to solve one particular puzzle. Either I'm a retard or it's just that difficult.

Ordered an Everdrive GB earlier this month. The Everdrive GBA was in stock the other day, but again, I need to reduce hobby spending to save money.
[Artist name redacted] reopened Skeb commissions. I was planning to send a request to him, but I'm already way over my hobby budget right now...
Just tried the Klonoa 1+2 demo. It's pretty fun. I'd get the full game but I'm worried about turning into even more of a degenerate.
I'm thinking of getting one of those LCD game keychains. Fuck phone games.
Started playing Dragon Quest XI S (Switch) the other day. Pretty fun so far, just putting in an hour of free time here and there and grinding a bunch of monsters.
The music's starting to get really glued in my head, especially the town theme.
Veronica is cute.
