So after I watched the cartoon network Teen Titans again there's something I've realized.

Too many people talk about how angry and "goth" Raven is but not enough people talk about how much she cares about her friends and other people.

She's known from the day she was born what she was destined to become — "the end of all things mortal." She's known her destiny and fought HARD to protect her friends, from everything evil including herself.

She's extremely intelligent and powerful, but she's never unkind or uncaring. In the episode Nevermore when her control slips a bit and she goes way too hard on Dr. Light, she's afraid of herself. She feels remorse for what she did, *for a villain*.

She may not be as outwardly bubbly and expressive as her friends, but that's because of what her powers do. The fact that when her friends were hurt she unleashed her most powerful form because she's angry and afraid. She's afraid of losing everything she's worked so hard to cultivate and keep, she knows what she's capable of but REFUSES to do so, she turns her dark powers into overwhelming light.

But still, my favorite episode is about the Cyborg's car.

To see him slowly watch it lose any soul he used to put in it was painful, and I still like to think of it whenever I consider what things from my past are worth fighting for.
