Hopefully the real life sequel is better than the movie sequel.

Ok when have you EVER seen a "Black Woman" have naturally blond hair? Yet if I wear dreadlocks I'm appropriating from African American slave culture?! 🤡

EndeavourOS is a terminal centric distro. Not sure it's the best start for newcomers on Linux. Kind of like diving in the deep end before learning to swim. Something like Manjaro or Garuda would be easier Arch based distros to learn on. You can get by on both without needing to use the terminal much. Mint or Solus are also good starting points. Don't get me wrong I think EndeavourOS is a fine distro but it expects you to be able and willing to put in some work.

Attention ZNC users: An RCE vulnerability has been discovered in ZNC's modtcl. You should disable this module until patched. More info at libera.chat/news/zncpsa (CVE-2024-39844)

Just the usual Manjaro Stable updates plus a small fix. The application “System Information” changed its packaging name from hardinfo to hardinfo2. For the current users install the hardinfo2 from Add/Remove Software.

In 1989, NASA conducted a clean air study in order to investigate whether indoor plants would help purify air at space stations. One of the plants they tested was aloe vera. 🦠

The NASA researchers determined that a single aloe vera plant was able to remove 1,555 micrograms of the volatile organic compound (VOC) formaldehyde from the air in a sealed experiment chamber after 24 hours. Aloe vera plants also successfully remove airborne particles of benzene, another common VOC.

They concluded that aloe vera and other houseplants like spider plant, English ivy, and philodendron can improve indoor air quality by removing VOCs from the air and

by absorbing carbon dioxide and releasing oxygen via photosynthesis.

Based on their results, the researchers recommend having at least one plant per 100 square feet of space.
✅ Purify the blood, improve metabolism!

🔹Chilled water - 1 glass.
🔹Iodine - 5 drops.
🔹Honey - 1 tablespoon.
🔹Apple cider vinegar - 1 tablespoon (can be replaced with grape vinegar).

Mix all the ingredients and drink 1 tbsp. remedy a day for a month.

Drink a glass at 10 pm and do not eat any more after that. The remedy tastes really good, reminiscent of juice.

With its help, you will cleanse the lymphatic system, blood, improve metabolism, and also protect yourself from colds and get rid of headaches.

Arch based distro EndeavourOS has a new release for their fifth anniversary. This update has restored support for ARM devices. There are now EndeavourOS ARM images for the Raspberry Pi 4, Raspberry Pi 5, ODROID N2, and Pinebook Pro. It also updates the kernel, Mesa, Plasma, among other programs as well as fixes several bugs. EndeavourOS uses the Calamares installer. It uses SystemD for the init system. If you choose the online installer then you get a choice of eight desktop environments or five window managers. You also get a choice between Grub, SystemD-Boot, or no bootloader. You can also choose between BTRFS and EXT4 for filesystems. All in all you get a lot of user choice during install outside of the sole init system option.
