Around the time they start trying to rob us.
FOSS Matrix client Cinny has been updated to version 4.0. This update has added support for changing your recovery password, added the option to float rooms with unread messages to the top of the room list, added a Lobby feature to manage space rooms, fixed 21 bugs, and more. In case you haven't heard of Matrix it's a more privacy and security friendly alternative to SMS. The code is licensed using AGPLv3.0. Cinny is available on Flatpak; the AUR; Github; and there is even an unofficial port for Ubuntu Touch. I've used it on my Pinephone using PostmarketOS as well as the Ubuntu Touch port on my Pixel 2 and enjoyed both.

I have been gaming since 1992 and building PCs since 2003. I enjoy Linux, supporting FOSS projects and am a tinfoil hat connoisseur.
Many FOSS projects rely on donations. If you have money to spare but don't know which to donate to take a look at the above links on Ko-fi, Github, and Open Collective. Anything on there that I have sponsered or contributed to is something I have found to be worthy.
