This week's donation went to Leaf. He's the main developer behind the Itchio gaming store, their client, and most of their platform. He also makes the occasional game himself. if you haven't heard of Itch it's a store that offers many DRM free games as well as having a FOSS client that has a Linux version.
He has a personal site here:
Some of his code can be found at Github:
He also has a store page on the Itch store:
He has a presence on the Fediverse:

If you wish to help him financially you can sponsor him on Github or buy games from the Itch store.
Cats. Dogs are awesome though. I was shocked at how interesting snakes can be as pets. They have a lot mor perosnality than I expected.

Who's into #LinuxMobile and plans to attend #38c3?
Want to form an assembly?
https://events.ccc.de/en/2024/11/03/38c3-call-for-assemblies/ - Nov 24 is the deadline.
I (Peter) think it would be nice to have one, but after my failing to make it happen last year (https://linmob.net/37c3) I don't want to try again - the failure was in part due to a stressful end of year at $dayjob and it's going to be similar this year.
This does not have to be a stand, and could just be a home base to connect and hack on things!
Heya folks! If you package software for Solus, please remember to perform a solbuild reset if you haven't yet after the Week 45 updates!
If you have faster internet, run:
`go-task solbuild-reset` from the packages repository.
If you have slower internet, run `sudo rm /var/lib/solbuild/images/* && sudo solbuild init -p {unstable,main}-x86_64`. Doing it this way won't nuke your solbuild cache.
Happy packaging!

#Halliburton reports $35 million loss after #ransomware attack
I have been gaming since 1992 and building PCs since 2003. I enjoy Linux, supporting FOSS projects and am a tinfoil hat connoisseur.
Many FOSS projects rely on donations. If you have money to spare but don't know which to donate to take a look at the above links on Ko-fi, Github, and Open Collective. Anything on there that I have sponsered or contributed to is something I have found to be worthy.
