That's all well and good but I will feel zero sympathy when anticheat screws them over. Not if, when. They're free to do as they please but they're not doing themselves any favors.

No I wouldn't. If I were to install an alternate OS on my Android device I would try to use something like PostmarketOS or Mobian. If those didn't work my next options would be Ubuntu Touch, Droidian, GrapheneOS, DivestOS, or /e/ OS. ChromeOS simply doesn't interest me. I'm trying to move away from Google not closer.

I think it doesn't effect me at all since I refuse to buy games that use Anticheat or other invasive DRM.
