Non upgradable RAM and GPU. Somehow I doubt many gamers go for this. It also still lacks Coreboot so another reason I wouldn't want it. I love what Framework has done but I don't see who the audience is for this.

FOSS game manager "Minigalaxy" has been updated to version 1.3.2. This update reworks the windows wine installation process, various bug fixes, allows game settings to contain blanks when quoted shell-style, and more. Minigalaxy is a manager for your GOG account which allows you to install your games from those servers, as well as allow you to run the game with Mangohud and Wine. The code is licensed using GPLv3.0. Minigalaxy is available in various distro repos, as a .deb file from Github, can be compiled from source, as well as it being available as a Flatpak.

Bryan Lunduke had a great video about Devuan.

Devuan is great for freedom of choice. During install gives the user a choice between SysVinit, Runnit, and OpenRC. If you use the netinstaller option you also get a choice of desktop environments during install including XFCE, Cinnamon, Gnome, KDE, LXDE, LXQT and Mate. It can also easily be used with the libre kernel if one wanted to if you follow the instructions at FSFLA.

The project has a forum and a presence on the fediverse:

We talk about Linux a lot, but Framework Laptop 13 also works great with
@FreeBSDFoundation The team there just published their most recent report with a writeup on how they are refining laptop support using Framework Laptops:

Our GitHub repo with open source CAD for Framework Desktop is already up so that you can start designing Tiles. We also included full mechanical drawings of the Mainboard for case builders. We’ll be adding much more as we go!
