Not sure what I think of it yet, as I haven't gotten through much of the introduction yet.

"Block Attack: Rise of the Blocks" is a FOSS reimagining of Tetris and it has been updated to version 2.8.0. This update has a few small changes and librayr updates. The oriignal update came out 28 days ago on Github but just hit Itch.io recently. The game was made using SDL and the code is licensed using GPLv2.0.
