I recently played a relaxing game called "Bubbles". It's kinda a cross between Guitar hero and Tetris. You have to pop the falling bubbles by tapping the corresponding colored key. Click the wrong one and you lose a life. If bubbles reach the bottom you lose life. Lose all your lives and the game is over. The music was really soothing which is an interesting combination given how stressful parts of the game can get when the screen is full of bubbles. While the game could have had more depth and technical options it provides fun and challenge regardless. There's leaderboards as well if you choose to upload your score. I paid $2.85 CAD and more than felt I got my moneys worth.  If you enjoy these sort of games than I would recommend it. It has a native Linux version and is available DRM free on Itch. It ran great even on my Trisquel system which uses an Intel UHD 770 so you don't need a powerful system.

Our fearless leader @a-wai is about to give his talk "Towards a bright future with Mobian?" in 5 minutes. Check out the streaming options at fosdem.org/2024/schedule/event or wait for our summary sometime later.

I just finished the demo to a 2D point and click game called "Murder on Space Station 52". Puzzles were pretty decent as was atmosphere and music. Looking forward to the full game now. The demo has a native Linux version and is available DRM free at GOG. If you enjoy the genre i'd check it out. Played the demo on my Trisquel desktop using the Intel UHD 770 so a powerful system isn't needed.

Jab math for children: Vaccinate almost 38,000 kids (with hundreds of serious side effects), stop one Covid hospitalization

You read that right. 38,000 to 1, per a new British study. At best. Not counting side effects. Yet the Centers for Disease Control is STILL pushing these on kids.

This week's donation went to DivestOS. It's a degoogled version of Android that has been forked from LineageOS and has a focus of trying to remove as many closed source blobs as they can. At last count they removed over 700 blobs depending on device. Some of the things they remove that few, if any, other mobile distros do is Widevine DRM as well as having Google-free eSIM activation. Divest also supports bootloader relocking on many devices which few other similar projects do. It includes F-Droid out of the box. It's a great option if you're looking for more privacy and security for your mobile device.
