@mewmew @realcaseyrollins It really isn't. Mormonism is wildly different in its beliefs about almost everything.

Like God lives on a planet, Kolob or something. Magic Underwear. Just all sorts of crazy cult stuff. It's pretty toothless though, but had a lot of really crazy racist stuff in it that's kinda pushed to the side these days.

@shebang @mewmew @realcaseyrollins yeah they believed that black people were the offspring of Ham and therefore cursed to wander the earth and never enter the realm of heaven. They backtracked on that recently though.

They also posthumously baptized all the known holocaust victims as Mormons, including Anne Frank, and the Jews did not care for that. They promised to stop but were caught a few times doing it anyways afterwards. They also posthumously baptized Helen Keller and other famous figures they deem "worthy".

Picture this: you're in Heaven, with all the angels and God and shit, harp music in the air, then all of a sudden a portal opens and you're sucked in. Now you're on a planet, and a man surrounded by bashful women approaches you. "Hi, I'm Elder Wilson, and i'm the God of this world. You've been baptized as a Mormon but because you weren't an Elder, you're assigned to my planet to serve me and my wives. Lucky you, it must have been Hell on the other side lol"
