@realcaseyrollins @peterdrake most neural networks that process the photos of real people can't work with anyone who is not an european and who wear glasses. It just messes up with NN which never seen that or not trained enough.

I'm not a scientist but I'm not sure how this can be solved technically. But I guess it would an interesting and game changing paper if somebody started to research this.

And you know what? It just couldn't see his face. He have normal face actually, no injures or like that. He is just 60 year old mongolian men.

That software was developed for some Kazakhstan bank and that's really weird it wasn't tested for it's first nation.

Luckily, all NN stuff is mostly at research level. It would a lot funnier to see when corporations will not train their AI on all kind of people: black, mongolian, australian and so on. That would be a nice chance to call them on court.

The current state of AI is really primitive and not nearly close to what's written in books.

The NNs are not new either. They are just trending now and we also have enough computing power to literally throw them into a wall and see what sticks.
