Yeah, I feel ya on that one.

The same thing happens with almost every political movement though.

You have the quiet/nice people that are do want positive change, then you have the loud virtue signaler are are horrible people.

For example: With Christianity, you have the people that actually follow the religion and show compassion but still hold their ideals and express their thoughts.
But then on the other side, you have the loud/annoying preachers that only push people away by their hypocrisy and negativity. (Luckily that has died down a lot in recent years, but now we have problems with other stuff)

Since we were on the topic of transgender earlier, and I am talking into the void anyway, I might talk about facebook and what happened as soon as I left it.

So a few years ago, I really felt like I should be a girl (I am biologically male). This was before I knew what transgender even meant, and I honestly did feel like I should be a girl instead of a guy. (This lasted about 2.5-3 years)

So what does this have to do with facebook? Well I saw a video of someone talking about how the phrase "If I am doing nothing wrong, I do not have to worry about anything." is complete bullshit. And at the point, I pretty much completely stopped using Facebook.

And for some reason, my mindset changed. I completely stopped feeling like I should be a girl. (At that point, I still did not know what transgender was.)

I typically hate conspiracy theories, but when talking about mind control and social media, I kind of question it. I do not have any proof that it was, other than personal experience that may or might have nothing to do with it. Its just kind of weird that it happened almost as soon as I left the platform.

Interesting. I haven't used Facebook in any serious way for many years. When I was using Facebook I was in my early twenties and I just chalked up all the dumb stuff I used to do and say to being young, but maybe Facebook does have some kind of an effect.
